brewing tips

use the right temperature

generally, boiling water is desired for herbal teas to extract all the good stuff! however, there are some exceptions (ex. green tea).

steep it covered

keep your cup covered so we can keep all the herbal goodies / oils in!

steep it well

we typically recommend steeping it for 15-20 minutes. the longer the steep, the stronger the extraction!

for decoctions

add 1 tbsp of herbs per cup of water and boil on low for 30-35 min. Pro Tip: to make a really really good decoction, simmer over night in a slow cooker ;)

note: always use proper dosing as directed by your healthcare practitioner. above are for general tips and is not considered specific recommendations.
